Playtech's North America Growth Powers Strong H1 Performance

Playtech showed significant progress in North America, which contributed to the growth of the company's financial indicators for the first half of 2024. Revenue from the B2B division grew by 14% to €382.2 million, and adjusted EBITDA increased by 38% to €112.3 million. The company showed particularly strong results in the US and Canada, where revenue grew by more than 200% compared to the first half of 2023. The live gaming division also saw a 17% increase in revenue.

In the B2C segment, revenue remained at €532.4 million, but adjusted EBITDA decreased by 6% to €130.7 million. The company's total revenue increased by 5% to €906.8 million.

Playtech has entered into a new strategic agreement with Mexican partner Caliplay and completed an important deal with Hard Rock Digital in the US. The company also announced the sale of Snaitech Flutter for €2.3 billion and plans to return up to €1.8 billion to shareholders.

Playtech's management is confident of further growth and plans to achieve B2B EBITDA targets earlier than expected.
