Bodog Is Ceasing Operations in Nova Scotia Due to Regulation

Operator Bodog suspends operations in Nova Scotia due to licensing restrictions.
Bodog gambling operator is no longer available in Nova Scotia. The Antigua and Barbuda company operated without a license in the province, where gambling is regulated only by the Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC).
A message on the Bodog website states that the operator no longer accepts players from Nova Scotia and Quebec. Users in the province received a letter saying their accounts would be closed on October 3rd and their bids refunded.
ALC supports Bodog's decision, as about $200 million flows out of the region annually on illegal sites. Despite the withdrawal from these provinces, Bodog continues to operate in other regions of Canada, including Ontario.
