Swedish Licensed Gambling Companies Generate SEK 6.66 Billion in Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the total turnover of Swedish licensed gambling companies amounted to SEK 6.66 billion (USD 0.61 billion), which is 1.2% less than last year. At the same time, compared to the second quarter of 2024, turnover decreased by 3.4%.
However, commercial online gambling was the only sector to record an increase in turnover, which increased from SEK 4.27 billion to SEK 4.33 billion compared to the third quarter of 2023.
At the same time, turnover from lotteries and slot machines fell by 2.7% to SEK 1.36 billion, while turnover from state lotteries decreased by 0.6% to SEK 818 million.
Turnover from the commercial land-based gambling business fell by 6%, with Casino Cosmopol experiencing the largest decline of 76.5%, with turnover of SEK 31 million.
