Alberta's iGaming future takes center stage as Minister Nally engages with industry leaders in Las Vegas.

Edmonton – Alberta Services and Red Tape Minister Dale Nellie plans to visit Las Vegas to participate in a panel discussion at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E), which will be held October 7-10, 2024.

Organized by the American Gaming Association, this conference is the leading exhibition in the casino industry, bringing together players, operators and suppliers from around the world.

The event provides an excellent opportunity to explore the latest trends in the global gaming industry, including the rapid development of iGaming and improved consumer protection. The conference is expected to gather more than 25,000 professionals from 115 countries.

Nellie's participation in the event is of particular importance to Alberta as the province shapes its strategy for regulated iGaming. "We are committed to creating a safe environment for online gambling," he noted.

By participating in G2E, the Government of Alberta is strengthening its position in working with national and international partners, which in turn should provide new opportunities for local businesses and stakeholders.
