Former Toronto Raptors player Tracy McGrady, a two-time NBA scoring champion, has become BetVictor’s new Safe Gaming Ambassador in Canada. Although McGrady only played three of his 16 NBA seasons with Toronto, he remains a popular figure among fans thanks to his time playing alongside Raptors legend Vince Carter in the 1999-2000 season, when the team made the playoffs for the first time.
Tracy will now help promote responsible gaming and raise awareness of safe gaming practices among the brand’s Canadian customers. “Responsible gaming is an important issue in Canada and I’m excited to work with BetVictor to promote this idea,” said McGrady.
Brent Almeida, Chief Commercial Officer of BVGroup, also highlighted Tracy as a perfect role model, as his NBA career is impressive. BetVictor has been a licensed betting operator in Ontario since June 2022.
