Lucie Walker takes on the Chief Human Resources Officer role at AGCO amid major leadership transitions.

The Alcohol and Gambling Commission of Ontario (AGCO) has announced the promotion of Lucy Walker to the position of Chief Human Resources Officer. Before that, Walker was the director of human resources and organizational development at AGCO, which she joined in 2022. She was a key figure in the implementation of important initiatives, including the creation of the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility.

Prior to joining AGCO, Walker worked at Southlake Regional Health Center, where she managed human resources and labor relations. She also had experience at the Canadian Institute for Health Information.

Walker's promotion comes amid other personnel changes at AGCO. In July, Dave Forestell was reappointed as chairman of the board for a three-year term. The commission also added Alan Gertner, previously vice-chairman of iGaming Ontario, as a director for two years.
