The UAE is turning a new page with the first nationally regulated lottery and millions in prizes!

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the launch of its first national regulated lottery, overseen by the newly formed General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA). The lottery, run by The Game LLC, will debut on December 14.

UAE residents aged 18 and over can purchase tickets to enter the Lucky Day draw, which has a top prize of AED 100 million (USD 27.2 million). There will also be 7 additional Luck Chance ID prizes of AED 100,000 each. In addition, players can play instant scratch cards with prizes of up to AED 1 million.

Bishop Woosley, Director of Lottery Operations at The Game LLC, said: “Our mission is to inspire people to dream, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the process.”

This step is another important milestone for developing the gaming industry in the region, which is actively growing, particularly after the issuance of licenses to Wynn Resorts and Aristocrat.
