Ontario's iGaming industry is considered the most competitive market in North America.

Ontario's gaming industry is showing steady growth, according to a report by iGaming Ontario presented at the Global Gaming conference in Las Vegas.

In the second quarter of the 2024-2025 financial year, from June 30 to September 30, players spent $18.5 billion on online betting, surpassing the previous record of $18.4 billion. Revenue for operators such as Pinnacle Ontario rose 1.5% to $737 million.

In addition, compared to the same period last year, activity increased by $4.3 billion. Despite the saturation of the market, iGaming Ontario director Martha Otton sees potential for further growth, particularly in the development of poker and daily fantasy sports.
