Loto-Québec continues to implement strategies for sustainable financial growth.

Loto-Québec experienced a decline in revenue and profit in the first quarter of the fiscal year, due to a two-day shorter period compared to last year and difficulties in the hospitality sector.

From April 1 to June 24, 2024, the corporation recorded revenues of $689.7 million and net income of $349.7 million. This is 3.0% and 8.2% less than in the corresponding quarter of 2023.

However, President Jean-Francois Bergeron noted that the results align with forecasts and allow us to look to the future confidently. The main decline was due to a reduction in the number of days in the quarter and problems in the restaurant business.

Loto-Québec plans further growth through new initiatives and improvements to its gaming facilities and online platforms.
